Army Building Restrictions
General Restrictions
All the Army building restrictions are applied only during the creation of the roster, and may be ignored during the game (for example, by joining characters to units or creating new units).
The army lists allowed are those from any of the currently published GW Army Books, and The Legion of Azgorh from Tamurkhan.
Undead Legions, the Legions of Chaos and any other End Times army lists are not allowed including the formation Battlescrolls included in End Times: Thanquol Special or Named Characters that appear in army books are allowed this excludes all characters that appear in End Times books and /or battlescrolls or that initially appeared in White Dwarf but were then included in End Times Books.
Fozzrik’s Folding Fortress may not be taken.
Units cannot be more than 450 points at the point of roster creation. This does not apply to characters.
All army sizes are 2400 points unless stated otherwise in race specific composition below.
Armies must be constructed on the following basis (in addition to any specific conditions imposed by their army book)
● Minimum of 3 units
● Minimum of 1 character that can be the army general
● Maximum of 50% of points spent on lords
● Maximum of 50% of points spent on heroes
● Minimum of 25% of points spent on core units
● Maximum of 50% of points spent on special units
● Maximum of 25% of points spent on rare choices
A team consists of 8 players, each of which with an army from a different army list.
Generic pool choices
The following pool choices apply to all armies with the exception of Bretonnia, Orcs and Tomb Kings(as they have no pools)
● If the total points spent on all lords and heroes is greater than 50% of the armies points 1 pool choice
● If the total points spent on all lords and heroes is greater than 60% of the armies points 1 further pool choice
● If the army contains one or more characters with leadership 10 for the purpose of ‘Spirit Leach’ and one or more wizards with access to the lore of death spell 'Spirit Leech' 1 further pool choice
● One or more wizards generatingspells from lore of death 1 pool choice
Beastmen
Maximum unit size at roster creation excluding characters is increased to 550 points.
May take Blight Kings of Nurgle from Warhammer End Times Glotkin
May select up to 5 choices from the pool below:
● Extra 75 points 1 choices (up to +300 points maximum),
● May take marks for all units that can do it in Glotkin book 1 choice
● Slugtongue 1 choice
Note that the Marks of Tzeentch, Nurgle and Slaanesh DO NOT allow wizards access to the
corresponding lore from the Warriors of Chaos Book. Wizards with a mark have access to the
same lores of magic as unmarked beastmen wizards (Shadow, Beasts, Death, Beastmen)

Bretonnia
Army size is increased to 2500 points

Chaos Dwarves

Scenarios
The following four scenarios will be used with the 200 scoring system as described below:
1: Battle line (normal game)
2: Meeting engagement (no reserve rolls, all units deploy on the board as normal)
3: Blood and glory
The usual 200 victory point based scoring system is capped at a maximum of 17 TP’s.
In addition to this the first player to break their opponents fortitude receives an additional 1
TP.
In addition to this if this player remains unbroken at the end of the game this player receives
an additional 2 TP’s.
Note that is at anytime during the game all remaining fortitude is in a single unit, the army is
considered to be broken. Note also that once broken an army cannot then become unbroken
e.g. by raising new units with fortitude using the Lore of Undeath
4: King of the hill
The usual 200 victory point based scoring system is capped at a maximum of 17 TP’s.
In addition to this the player that holds the center point at the end of the game receives a
further 3 TP’s. To hold the center point a unit must contain fortitude (excluding the general
and the BSB).
The scenario to be played in a team environment is determined by a combination of round
and pairing number consult the table below to determine the scenario that will be used.
