Hello!
I have recently relocated to Warsaw and off course brought with me my armies... I have looked around a bit and although not speaking Polish will be a problem I was assured by the guys over at Cytadela that many in the community do speak english!
In any case, (and if this is not the right forum feel free to move it mods) I am looking to get some games cause I am getting rusty.
Today, tomorrow or Saturday (on saturday I can play from morning till 15.30) at Cytadela... I can do anything from 2000 to 2750 (preffered 2250 as I have it printed from AB). If anyone is interested send me a PM. Today I actually plan just to pass from Cytadela in Ursynów at around 15.00 to buy some painting material but I will also carry my army with me so would be glad to find any takers.
So, I hope to get some opponents and see you then.

Hi there, Monodominant!
Though I have little time available in incoming days, I don't tend to play at Cytadela and probably won't dish out that many points in my army, I wish You to find a fellow player, who will be more than willing to join You. I don't know exactly how it looks in the west, though here I think You should be prepared for players to squeeze out everything they can from the rules, but this may be biased opinion. Outside tournaments people should play more for relaxing than for winning, though competition still exist.
Well, let this be my little welcome for You and have a luck in finding opponents and in winning games!
PS. What exact armies are under Your command?

Heh thanks for the welcome!
In Fantasy I play High Elves and Vampire Counts but I have only brought my HE with me.
In 40k I play DaemonHunters and Orks but I brought only the DH with me.
Space is limited and also metal figures are pretty heavy and cant afford to have them sent here.
My experience from Greece and the UK (the 2 countries I have played for long-term in the past) is that Fantasy overall tends to be competitive unless played with really close friends, even random pick-up games in Fantasy tend to be more hardcore and antagonistic, for the half a year or so I was taking part in team-tournament with ETC rules and there its really bloody . In 40k for some reason the atmosphere is more relaxed even in tournaments (up to a point I guess). So I wont really be scared off easily heh.
As for points I am for anything really... I mean I said 2250 because thats the most usual format back home (due to ETC) and from what I read about most tourneys in Poland 2350 is the standard format. I am for anything though so dont write me off just yet.
I mentioned Cytadela cause thats the place I actually know to have tables. I also went by Faber i Faber but they only have 1 table so I guess it will pretty tough to actually get it. Are there any other "hot spots" or clubs that offer gaming tables?
The hardest thing I find here in warsaw is to get a game on the fly. Back in Greece in my 2 favorite stores you could just swing by and get a game going if you waited a bit with someone who also had the same idea or worst case scenario if the staff was not too busy they would always play you. (its not a GW chain, just a local one).

Ps. sorry for any mistakes, but i'm not best in writing in Eanglish
Ps2. In Poland all of the best players, and not only them, use Eanglish names for items as scrolls etc. , so I think it won't be hard to understand what people actually are talking about in topic about rosters
