Ill get to the short and sweet.
A local manager nearly leaped across the counter at me after coming back from a recent trip to Las Vegas with the Retail team here in the US. And with his unbridled explosion of enthusiasm for the conversations about the future of warhammer, I figured I would drop it off with you guys to digest... confirm, deny, whatever... its interesting all the same.
Warhammer will receive an expansion to the basic game akin to what Apocalypse did for 40K. Large kits of monsters, warmachines, and the resurgence of a rumor of 150mm x 200mm bases for large stuff.
Also hinting at "new" seige/castle terrain as a component of the system...
this coincides nicely with recent rumors about Forge Worlds focus in warhammer goodies, and recent capabilities and focus on terrain as a product that is essential to basic gameplay.
